Our Worship Space: Inheritance and Legacy

As we reflect on the first fifty years of our parish, we recognize and are grateful for all that has been given to us by our predecessors. Their time, talent and treasure make it possible for us to be here today. At the same time, we ask ourselves: "What will we pass on to following generations? How will our stewardship of the gifts we've been given enrich their lives and the spiritual life of our parish?"

Liturgy is the center of our parish life. We come together to celebrate all the days and seasons of the liturgical year and special days in our families' lives in our church. Our worship space is our gathering place for all these events.

In this, our fiftieth year, we propose some meaningful changes to our worship space. Among them:

These changes have been carefully and prayerfully conceived. They are rooted in a more complete understanding of correct liturgical design as set forth by the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops' Committee on Divine Worship.
